In keeping with the spirit of United in Prayer Day, we encourage everyone to spend the time at home, praying for our nation, the world and all that comes to mind for healing.

The Welcoming Prayer is a method of consenting to God’s presence and action in our physical and emotional reactions to events and situations in daily life. The practice complements Centering Prayer by helping to dismantle the emotional programs of the false-self and heal wounds by addressing them where they are stored—in the body. This introduction is helpful to new and experienced practitioners of Centering Prayer and is an important addition to the practice.
